Many Windows installation programs will not only create the program directory (Visual FoxPro in this case) and copy files, but also copy certain files (usually DLL files) to the Windows folder, do changes in the Registry, and perhaps do some other changes such as registering ActiveX (OCX) files. Just copying the folder will only take care of the first part, and therefore probably not work. You can try it, of course - but I have only seen this work for some fairly small programs, for example, certain games.
