>We are trying to do a calculation that uses any number to the power of a decimal. For example 4^.25. Foxpro returns an error that says "** or ^ domain error". The calculation works just fine for whole numbers but not for decimals. Is there any way around this?

It works fine since at least FoxPro 2.6 for DOS and Windows. Of course it would not work for negative numbers as the answer would be a complex number.
