In that position I'd be reluctant to show a sample app written by someone else ( *especially* Tastrade ). Why not just do some mods on a copy of client data to make it unidentifiable and modify any UI cues that would violate confidentiality and show something that really represents the level of expertise you are selling ?
And then re-think pitching VFP as a viable technology. If your potential client isn't already stuck with some legacy code and VFP expertise, you are not doing them a favor, and they likely will figure that out.
