I suspect Google might want to launch a version of Android for Python, considering Python isn't owned by anyone, and Google loves Python.

That said, I just relaunched my Android product line, and this time I'm using Google App Engine for the backend (which is available for Python or Java, though I'm using Java). This means the front end and the back end are finally the same language for me. Yay.

Now it's just too bad Android's Layout XML isn't implemented by the browsers instead of CSS.
