Ok, I just tried - I created a form with a grid, gave it 10 columns. Then I right-click to Edit the grid, clicked on the Column. Clicked on the container then clicked on that column. I can see that this container is added to the column (checked in the Property Sheet).

I suggest to first delete the text1, so you can see this container visually. Otherwise you only see it in the Property sheet.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
