I only speak for myself...

I already lose about 10 hrs (a day, basically) back and forth just to be able to get to Arizona -- and it's very difficult to work out that many business days away from the office. I also purchased the tickets for two when the SWFox Conference dates were announced - was not assuming that it would be 'extended' by virtue of more pre-conf day(s); (sadly, the penalties for these plane tickets are almost as high as buying another round of tickets... and these are not non-stop flights).

If its possible - and the amount of material could be condensed enough: offer an afternoon pre-conf session (1pm to 4pm) on October 18th.

Frankly, I'd hate to miss the FiC presentation.
