No, VPF install does not install DCOM95. There was a new version posted to the MS web site after VFP 6.0 shipped.

Known fixes for C00000005 error:

1) Install IE 4.01
2) Install DCOM95 or DCOM98
3) RELEASE all class libraries before terminating application.
