>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>I have both SQL 2005 and 2008 installed on one PC. When I create a new stored procedure in SQL 2005 pressing Ctrl-Shift-M brings up the template to fill in parameters. But when I am in SQL 2008, nothing happens on Ctrl-Shift-M. What should I check? TIA.
>>
>>Works for me after I went to Templates Explorer, picked a stored procedure template, opened it and pressed Ctrl + Shift + M
>
>Does not work for me; I am following your steps. Must be something "broken" in my SQL Server 2008 SSMS.
>Thank you.

Go to Views/toolbars and make sure the SQL Editor toolbar is checked then try it again.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
