We have two servers which unfortunately are in different workgroups. (Placing them on the same workgroup will be the subject of a separate question.)

Each windows server has sql server installed: Windows server 2008 R2 has SQL Server 10.0 installed and Windows Server 2003 has SQL Server version 9.0 installed.

From windows server 2008 I can see the SQL Server v 9.0 engine but not the other way around. Surely it is a matter of rights but I don;t know how to go about configuring them correctly.

Can someoen provide some help, please.

TIA,

Alex
