Hi David ----

Something somewhere has to be opening the correspondence table or else it wouldn't show. Also, the "dimmed" problem and the status bar problem may be due to a datasession problem. Is it possible you are opening these tables in the default datasession and then attempting to bind controls in the forms to these table yet the forms have private datasession defined?
