The same can be said of Canadians, who still compromise the large majority of NHL players.
Last fall I passed along a link to you about a sensational series of stories in the NY Times about Derek Boogaard. He was a legendary hockey enforcer whose livelihood depended on his size and fists. He had substance issues but you could tell that at heart he wasn't a bad guy at all. Sad.
