Holy Cat! I have been having this registry error with my VPF app for the last decade! I have usually solved it by doing an install of MS Office prior to putting my app on the system. With 64-bit Office, this key doesn't get written, so the problem's come back.
Thanks a whole lot Doug. Now smiling again and running my app on Windows 7 in Parallels on Mountain Lion. I thought it was a goner.
Thank you thank you thank you.
John
