>I have been told that in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, a lady told the bus driver that she wanted to get off at the "two hundred". It turns out that the zoo has a sign, with letters 2 or 3 meters high.

During my time working in St. Louis last year I drove through Springfield probably 50 times. The birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, the museum. the capitol where he actually walked. Never stopped once. Now that is stupid. I really needed to get home an hour sooner?

The one place I did usually make a point of stopping northbound was a rest stop on I-55. Off to the right is a commemorative sign saying Honest Abe piloted a boat through there as a young man.
