Right now I'm trying to see why this command isn't returning no a single record. When I do a recount, it says 0

Set t_RecSet_user = CurrentDb.OpenRecordset("select * from case_mgr where casemgr_userid=' " & t_UserId & "'")

It's sitting in the right table. if i take off the where clause, I can pull in the records that exists. It doesn' tlike the where clause and it' s not giving me an error or anything, it's just not pulling any records.
