Very true. We've wasted so much money on the 'War on Drugs', especially marijuana. We created the drug cartels (indirectly, if not directly) and now we're surprised at the outcome. Like Prohibition never happened, never created the Mobs as we know them. Yeah....no.

>>Yes. This was the very first time that a "gun-walking" operation was designed to allow the guns to go untracked and unintercepted.

>>>so having the Republican Congress critters getting all up in the air screaming about this all being a Democrat operation strikes me as a little hypocritical.

>>>Do I think "Fast and Furious" was an incredibly stupid idea? yes, I do, but I can understand the thinking behind it.

>>The oversight committee has repeatedly requested documents that the DOJ has refused to release. The DOJ has been caught in at least 2 untruths in sworn testimony which they have had to retract. The DoJ has repeatedly asserted that the White House and President Obama had no involvement or knowledge of the gun-running operation yet the President has now claimed executive privilege. Those last two points are mutually exclusive.
