sorry, I lost my earlier response to you when JavaFX wanted to update and I closed the browser (oops).
On the UI issue: what I know is that increasingly, in the space in which I play (Enterprise LOB apps), having mobile (smartphone, tablet) is increasingly important. We can sell our desktop app; but when we mention, e.g., an Android app so the housekeeper can requisition toilet paper to a particular building without a) making a phone call or b) going to a computer, I get the same reaction every time: a lot of excitement and a question of when can they have it. They don't ask the price.
That said, we have to satisfy power users, who are likely to have multiple "forms" open at a time. This can be done in Lianja at present; and they have committed to making this a built-in function, with some nice other features one would want, post V.1. What we do in our Enterprise App we will be able to do in Lianja.
