I agree with your main premise; I disagree on its application here. If I'm getting money to evangelize a product, then I should disclose that (and I'm not). My interest is in having Lianja succeed. As it is for any developer who sees a future in it for their work. If we end up making anything on it, that will be both fortuitous and accidental, and is not in any of our plans. At $.99/mo, $2.99 for an annual subscription, we're basically giving it away -- and we've offered to Lianja to supply with a free copy to give away with each registration for a trial version, however they will handle that). I think Lianja has the potential to be worthy of the kinds of numbers that VFP achieved (by rumor some 600K at its peak). But that's so far out of imaginable reality at this point, I literally have never connected the two in my imagination until this point. See what you've started? :)
