Coding, syntax & commands
By trial an error, I noticed that there is a distinct difference between creating the object as
=createobject('word.basic')
and
=createobject('word.application')
When using the latter method, there are a great deal of commands that work straight from the macro builder, or perhaps from VB. However, they're not all valid, but it does make me wonder, what posessed somebody to develop the WORD data object in VFP by deviating from a standard that already existed, thus alienating VFP still further ???
A case for Damien Carras methinks ????
