No, Iran is a friendly neighbour of *part* of Syria - the current government, and some of the people.
Why would Iran want those factions of Syria to do anything different from what they're already doing? Iran is worried about being surrounded by democratic countries, Arab Spring uprisings etc. Iran wants the current regime in Syria to remain as-is.
For similar reasons, Russia doesn't want regime change, either. They want to keep a good arms customer and their naval base at Tartus.
