HI, the best solution for you and for vfp to be speed on remote client is to use SQLSERVER AS BACK END.
all vfp developers have already faced this problem.

the problem is that there is not a good and complete sample of application that can help us to upsize to sqlserver and update sqlserver database edit forms and so on...

i invite all vfp and sqlserver good developers to help us to still using vfp. we love vfp we don't want to leave it.
