The Chinese economy may be roaring but the country still has major issues with human rights, suppression and censorship of anti-government views, safety laws, and so on. When it comes to untrammeled free enterprise with little interest in anything else they make the U.S. look like neophytes.

It still boggles my mind that go-go capitalism and old style oppressive Communist rule somehow coexist in one country.

>There are several economists that believe the Chinese government is doing alot of PR to hide that there are severe issues in China. I believe the truth is somewhere between what the Chinese say and what those economists say.
