Mike you,re right,

I'm just stumped that people i'd expect to be intelligent to come up with unintelligent and even wrong statements. A total disinterest in facts and full of political colored spinned and slanted arguments. Com'on, if you have some opinion and want to express that opinion, I'd expect that to have at least some solid foundation, in stead of build on quick sand.

I just can't believe this comming from people up here.... putting france (AA+ status) in the same line as spain, italy and greece, comparing unemployment rates of two counties while the definitions are totally different, totally ignoring the fact that US has by far the most expensive healthcare per citizens while it receives relatively poor quality. It is common knowledge, easily verified and there should not even much debate on this, but there appearantly is, even amongst people who should know better.

But again, you're right..

>>I guess you run out of arguments to make your point. You don't have a clue what you are talking about
>>
>>1. Healthcare in those countries do not take such a heavy toll on those countries budget as it does at the US. in fact its only half or less.
>>2. France does not fit into this list of countries, as Frances' economical problems are nothing compared to the ones of the other 3.
>>3. The dire economical issues of those countries you have mentioned have absolutely nothing to do with healthcare. In fact it has a lot to do with a certain problem that started in your neck of the woods, esspecially for Spain.
>>
>>You're beginning to make an excellent case for the american stereotype...
>>
>>>One only needs to look at Greece, Italy, Spain, and France to see this in action.
>>>
>>>>Actually, the cost was not zero. It cost the UK tax payers plenty. Just because you didn't have to pay anything doesn't mean that it didn't cost someone else. That is the problem with socialism - eventually you run out of other people's money.

>Walter, we are in agreement on the issue but let's keep it respectful. Just because it's a hot button issue doesn't mean we have to get hot at each other.
