I have a dropdown box on my user screen that allows the user to change their ranks (i.e. CPT, MAJ etc) from my Ranks table. I want to ensure that that particular primary key is captured in the fk_rank field of the user table. So that every time, the user scrolls through the screen, they well see the appropriate rank for each user.
