>I had a really cool report that used different sections (and many groupings) to take user criteria and create flexible reports; same report form, but different output. Much of it is based on developing the cursors before getting to the report and using PrintWhens. The problem I'm having is the fact that the client's changing scope of the reports is increasingly difficult to build into this *flexible* report form while trying to maintain some development standards for those who follow behind me. I now need to create additional report forms to handle this. Is there a way to use classes or something like them to take the same data/report objects and share them between reports? If I have a demographic section that remains the same between reports, I don't want to have to edit all three reports when there are minor changes to be made. Should I be using a third-party report writer? I always thought Foxpro had a great reporting tool, but now as I'm getting used to the visual product the
>writer seems clunky. Any ideas would be appreciated... Renoir
I belive Bulls Eye report writer is supposed to allow you to do that... but, I have also seen messages here that it is not read for prime time.
Have you looked at FoxFire reporting system?
