Oil companies will always poo-poo climate change because it's in their best interest to do so. And the only people buying their crap are the small minded people on the right or the politicians who will make out handsomely by supporting them. And of course, these people will wait until it's too late and leave their children and grand-children to deal with the mess (which will of course affect the poor people the most). We in the technology world should rely on science which, of course, the Tea Partiers and right wingers have conveniently dismissed since it goes against what they say.
