hmmm...well that is tricky. If my country goes to war and I disagree with the reasons for the war, I sure as hell am not going to help fight it. Plus I'm not real big on my tax dollars going to bombs instead of education. Aside from all that though, to me it seems I should pay USA income tax if my income is ending up in the USA or my employer is in the USA - not if I'm working/living out of country. I don't see the USA helping me when I'm abroad - so why should I ?

>At a minimum to support the defense of your country. If your country goes to war, it is your responsibility to help fight the war. You don't agree?

>>I don't see the logic in paying USA taxes when you're living/working somewhere else - why should someone have to pay for something like this?

>>>I see no problem with paying fedral tax when you work abroad. The state and local tax is another story.

>>>>You guys do have a valid point here I think - but there is also the flip side of this. If you're a USA citizen and go work out of the country for a year or two you're still expected to pay USA income taxes - even though you have no USA income.

>>>>>I agree. I think there should be a law that if a US citizen abandons their citizenship (especially a rich one like this b$tch) they should never be allowed to enter the US again.

>>>>>>Good ridance. If they can't take it, let them go. The loss of her taxes is such a small blip in the big scheme of national debt/budget that they won't be missed.
