Thank you for your answers. Something tells me that this customer will still ask me to create all custom report with VFP (even though he may sell himself and his bosses with Crystal :)). I doubt very much that they will take time to learn. But as long as I don't mislead them, I am ok.

>Yes, you can use Crystal Reports against any ODBC connection. However, I would have to see some pretty convincing evidence why Crystal would be a better choice than SQL Server Reporting Services. SSRS is free with SQL Server. IMO, it's easier to use. Delivers web-based reporting easily (Crystal requires additional licensing). Crystal, however, is better at nested reports and supports more output formats (but SSRS handles the most standard, Excel and PDF).
