There's absolutely no reason to worry. To repeat what I have written before; VFP9 will work with all Intel based Windows versions in the foreseeable future. Until a 128-bit or 256-bit version of Windows comes, VFP9 will behave perfectly. And by the way, a 128-bit or 256-bit version of Windows won't happen in a looong time. Around 2030 I will start to worry, maybe. :-)

I have a set of distributed applications that are a combination of .NET 3.5 and VFP that must be ready to run on Windows 8 by mid-September. I know that Windows 8 does not play well with .NET 3.5, so I'm preparing to recompile that portion of the project in .NET 4.5 (distributing both for the benefit of users that are not upgrading to Win8), but I find myself skeptical that Win8 and VFP will place nice.
