Between Word 7 and Word 8 MS changed from WordBasic to VBA to standardize their Office products (that is _my_ interpretation). While incredibly annoying :-) it was necessary (IMO). It wasn't something _done_ to us (the VFP) community.

What's nice is that word.basic is still even supported.
