I have a set of distributed applications that are a combination of .NET 3.5 and VFP that must be ready to run on Windows 8 by mid-September. I know that Windows 8 does not play well with .NET 3.5, so I'm preparing to recompile that portion of the project in .NET 4.5 (distributing both for the benefit of users that are not upgrading to Win8), but I find myself skeptical that Win8 and VFP will place nice.

I have a virtual machine with the Release Candidate of Windows 8 in it. The next step, if I didn't get satisfactory answers, was to install VFP in it and see what happens. As it is, it seems that VFP may be the least of my problems - I have several third-party add-ons that may make life more interesting, some of which are installed from 3.5" diskettes. Not to mention figuring out what to do with .NET.
