I know precedent has been set by allowing someone to run for President who did not produce ID enough to get a drivers licence, and since then he has been allowed unfettered access to Top Secret information. Yes, after a couple of years they managed to produce something (with the resources he has at hand, he could have been a poodle and produced a human birth certificate).

So, we'll just let whomever vote for whatever. Perhaps we should put polls in the streets of Iran or North Korea and assume whomever votes is OK. That'll work.
