If you are worried about too long battery life, I have a few suggestions:

1. Turn on GPS, WiFi and all other battery consuming devices
2. Never quit an application, just let it run as a background service
2. Always use loud speaker mode
4. Replace the original battery with a battery with lower capacity (or get a used one)

If you still have too long battery life, you can easily fake a discharged battery by turning the phone completely off.
