>>>I'm not sure why these guys can't separate extremism from the religion and why they only apply this logic to Islam. (perhaps just ignorant prejudice???) Right wing extremists in the U.S. with strong ties to fundamentalist Christianity (american Taliban) have struck (atlanta olympics, McVeigh, etc) and are growing in numbers in the form of Militias. Should we say, because of them, all Christianity are guilty??? How about the molesting priests and the Catholic leadership protecting them... should we blame all of Christianity for this evil???

So you are, to some extent, in the same camp with them. If you tolerate them in your camp, or (worse) offer them protection against others who may not tolerate them (church hierarchy protecting sex offenders in their rank, christianity as a whole not condemning their own governments when doing "necessary evil" against civilians), then you also take a part of the blame.

Believe me, I know that this logic works. We were bombed for what Milošević did. And we even did go the extra step to distance ourselves from him and his cronies, but the media just wouldn't listen. The collective responsibility can be a bitch, but the world applies it left and right.
