What I have found most useful is to record macros in Word (or Excel) and then use the VBA editor to cut the code out and paste it into Foxpro. Because Macros contain constants, I use the object browser to look up the constant names and then substitute their value or add the constant declaration into my VFP program. This helps to provide the object syntax.

Basically, do what you want the program to do manually and then use the generated macro code to automate the process.
