There's another fallacy going on. When they say "independent media", they actually mean "not run by the government" - which leaves the dependence on owners and ad space customers in deep shadow, as if those never mattered.

On 9-III-1991 we had a run of people on TV Bastille and state government building, for all the lies and propaganda it was spewing for months. And that was before any of the ex-Yu wars started.
