Razor is an improvement to the traditional asp like scripting. Basically, you use an @ in .cshtml files instead of the old < % % > stuff in .aspx files (which was made with the old Webforms in mind (Ugh..). Also Razor takes out a lot of the old bloat that was in aspx files, removing the requirement for certain statements.
The big thing is that Razor is made with modern web development in mind, meaning MVC and things like jQuery and mobile.
Definitely, if you're going to do MVC, do Razor!!
>Nobody seems to have replied to the Razor aspect of your question. I only looked at it briefly and, to me, it looked like a case of going back to classic ASP and improving on that.
