>I am discussing the project of converting an application from using VFP database to SQL Server database. One of the top IT people at the company asked the question (fortunately in email so I have a chance to learn more) as to "technical requirements on the server side" (exactly his words). I thought that I would just tell them that we need SQL Server 2008 or later and that's it. But maybe he is looking for more information. What - in your opinion - could I tell them more about the SQL Server that I will need? Keep in mind that this server will have about 10 databases (each one being used by a different VFP application). TIA for any input.
Another question I have, do people write SQL Server application specification? (another request from an IT person).
