I am tempted to publicize a list of whom I have in mind, but I will refrain from doing so. However, I may answer some of these people with a reference to this message in the future, to let them know how I feel.

We've all been there, Tore. The way I look at it is that even though some people don't say thank you, helping out someone in need is its own reward. Maybe even nicer when it is done anonymously.

I still remember the first question I posted online, which was on the old Compuserve FoxForum more years ago than I care to remember. I was completely green with FoxPro 2.0 and was very frustrated with a setup issue. The question was answered by Blaise Mitsutama, who was then with Microsoft. (And who I assumed was a guy, just like Tamar <g>). She gave me expert advice and fixed the problem. I did thank her, as I always try to thank anyone who helps me out, but I also remember the sense of being a stranger in a strange land. People don't always react as well as they should under those circumstances.

We all know how good you are ;-)

Have you forsaken Aruba for the late summer nights?
