It was unclear whether he needed to do this to an existing APP in the field, or to changes to an APP that was about to be distributed. If the APP is already out there, changing the icon is a "user changable" option, where changing the code or changing the install procedure, is not. You are correct, either one of your suggested options truly corrects the problem, mine was just a "quick fix".
