Actually I am half-ambivalent on thanking everybody participating in a thread
that is waisting bandwidth and - more important - reader time not on non-technical [unimportant?] stuff.

Might have something to do with the fact that we germans are not taht far up north,
so we try to to balance that with being less polite to allow us to pass as viking sons ;-)

What I absolutely think is a reason not to answer later questions is missing out on marking/describing a found solution.
Selfish to the bone - OP found a solution and later searchers can test themselves - those get on a virtual skip list.

Followed closely by questions not thought through or formulated in such a way that a couple of interpretations are possible
and several question/answer rounds follow before the problem is clear and we can only then target/focus on technical questions.

Being impolite/stupid/trolling will also lessen probability of answer and modify the tone if one happens to materialize ;-)

ANd I won't dispute that overcoming my laziness on writing is correlated with personal unconscious stuff.
But a "thanks to all participating" in the post after the answer marked with 3 stars is best in my VERY personal opinion ;-)

regards

thomas
