Hi Mike,

my quip was more on the part up to "Javascript ... heralding it". jQuery ***is*** clearly beneficial to lots of devs -
but in starting most of such libs (DoJo, Sencha are no slouches either) helped by dressing up [perceived only?]
warts of Javascript language: more traditional class similar type of coding, fleshing out often needed routines...

Which ones will survive best in next 6 years ?
Dunno, Sencha looks perhaps more interesting/better rounded from technical angle,
but jQuery has more OS "umph" packed behind it IMO and greater market [?free?] saturation.
