Now I am watching and am confused. They are giving massive amounts of airtime to a look back at the 1996 women's gymnastics competition. What the heck? Not only is this taking attention away from the events today, it is about 500 times more than I want of the wildly annoying Bela Karolyi and his equally annoying wife. They should both be put on a raft and pushed back in the direction of Romania. What incredible peacocks and camera hogs. That seems to be a general trait of gymnastics coaches. They are bigger divas than the athletes they coach, which is saying something.

The one who was so over the top this week that she wound up charming me was the Russian gymnast who took third in the all around. I don't remember her exact name but the last name has nine letters and starts with M. Lots of glitter in her hair and eyebrows. Even her own coach said she is a diva -- and that she used to be an even bigger diva. LOL. All drama all the time, that's women's gymnastics.
