>>>Speaking of which, I don't need to look around the world to find Olympic athletes to be disgusted by. I've got a team right from the U.S. of A. After yesterday's basketball game I went from cheering for the men's basketball team without enthusiasm to actively hoping someone beats them. If you didn't catch this, they beat some hapless opponent (Nigeria?) by over 80 points yesterday. Sure, with their roster there is no way they could have avoided winning the game. But they didn't have to win by 80. They made 29 three point shots. Totally classless.

>>By the way, you should not be hard on USA team, in this stage the +/- scoring counts to break ties, so they did the right thing IMO

>You are kinder to my team than I am ;-) Like the U.S. basketball team is going to be involved in a tiebreaker?

I doubt it, but what about the other teams? Imagine US does not push their score and wins by a lower margin, lets say against team X, and then X finishes on top of team Y for their +/- is better, don't you think that would be unfair to team Y?

OK, back to watching Argentina Nigeria :)
