This show is so good it's almost unbelievable. Characters, plot, dialogue, on and on. I am not going to look up how many Emmys it won, for fear of spoilers, but it was a lot.

I know this thread is a month old, but I just saw it and I couldn't resist a reply.

The West Wing was Tom Piper's favorite show! He taped every episode. Whenever I'd go out to dinner with him, we'd go back to his house after dinner and watch the lastest taped episode of West Wing. I wasn't into much TV at the time, I hardly ever watched it ... but I enjoyed the few episodes of the show that I watched with Tom.
