>You'd best hit up some Pluralsight training for ASP.NET MVC videos before you choose for sure. There's a lot of platforms out there. If you're staying with the MS web stack you should be doing ASP.NET MVC. Otherwise check out Ruby, Python, or Scala.
I feel like the only person here who intrudes on the Pluralsight hegemony. Nothing against them but it should be mentioned that TekPub has ASP.NET MVC content presented by Rob Conery, who was on the dev team at Microsoft.
