Do you know if the table was actually removed or not? If so, try moving or deleting the offending table and then open the database as a table (use database.dbc) and delete the record with objecttype="Table" and objectname=the bad table. Look at theobjectid as well and find and delete all records where the parentid = the objectid of the bad table. Close the database. Now, from the command window, COMPILE DATABASE database and then try to use it normally.

>I'm having problems opening a VFP5 database. This happened after I removed a table that was giving me "Primary key invalid" error. I wanted to change the key but wasn't able to modify the table so I decided to drop the table from database and re-add it after I fixed the PK issue.

>However, VFP frozed when I tried to remove the table and now I can't get back in to the database! I can't run any recover or validation on it since I can't open the database. I can't even copy the database to a different location. Help! Is a most recent backup only way to get this database back??
