>Well $250,000 a year might not be that much to you - but for almost ALL Americans it's way more than they will ever earn. Doing this will not make the economy worse.

>$250,000 is a lot more than I earn in a year. However, most small businesses are run as S-corps where the income flows through to their personal taxes and they DO make more than $250,000 a year. Squeeze them with taxes and the jobs they produce will dry up because the tax man will take away the money that they could have put back into their businesses..
How does that work in the States? Here you would only pay personal income tax on money which you withdrew from the business. If you want to put money into the business then just don't take it out in the first place.....

>Sounds to me like your envy of those who earn more than you do makes you want to punish success. IMHO, this is exactly what Obama's objective has been all along with all of his divisive tactics and attempts to foster class warfare.
