Lianja has mobile built into its DNA. And unlike any other platform, delivers both web mobile (like Sencha, like PhoneGap plus HTML/JavaScript, like Itanium) and also (early next year) native iOS and Android apps. On those native apps, you will be able to run VFP code, i.e., be able to work disconnected. Automatic syncing is not on the roadmap, but has been discussed, and has been acknowledged as something that is a) doable (the Recital database has the innards to do it without rewriting or adding a whole new layer) and b) desirable.
