How is me paying more making less turn into me getting fruits of someone else's labor? How is me asking someone else to do what I have to do "punishing" them? I'm confused on how you think this has merit.

>hahahaha. Right. If I agreed to squash the McDonalds employee somehow (tax them higher, take away any health benefits, perhaps take away food stamps because 8 bucks an hour is enough $ to feed their family of 6) - THEN would I be a true conservative? Or do I need to make sure they're Christian bible thumpers and not gay first?

I personally don't care if you are christian, gay, abortions, etc.. I am only looking at it from the stand-point of tax structure. And you and I pretty much agreed that people above certain level (to be established) should all pay the same; no loopholes. Then the real wealthy would pay 25-30-35 (whatever) instead of 14. That would be fair. And by the way, the guy who makes $8/hr and feed family of 6 won't pay taxes at all; even with the current tax structure.
