but here comes a stupified "huh??" If life is really that bad/dire (may it be debt, CO2 effects, oil gone, new ice age or some other doom)
I hope any kid of mine will still find things excel at or good niche to occupy. And even if not, life is probably not that bad,
otherwise few would have survived medieval times.
And if life really is that bad - (speaking of some kind of zombie/damnation alley bad here...)
suicide is still an option which had less stigma in greco-roman times.
Why not give *them* the choice ?
Speaking here specifically against your agruement, not meaning some pro-life mumbo-jumbo...
